Santa Cruz de Tenerife will host the Spanish Junior Open squash tournament included in the World Junior Circuit this sport. This competition, which in previous years has been held in cities like Barcelona, Madrid and Santiago de Compostela, arrives for the first time ever to the capital, where they will play the next 19, 20 and July 21.
El Centro Insular de Tenerife Squash host this event, continuing its tradition of welcoming top international tournaments, as has been happening over the last decade with championships in Spain, PSA tournaments or WISPA tournaments, among others.
The Spanish Junior Open will feature the best junior players in Spain, along with leading shoe arrivals from countries like England, Ireland, Germany, Egypt, Colombia, Poland or the Czech Republic. In total there will be five categories that come into competition (U-11, U 13, U 15, U 17 and U 19), both male and female.
The tournament is co-organized by the Federation Squash Canaria and the Autonomous Sports of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and has a large representation of players, parents, coaches, and fans thin foreigners.
